As a strength and conditioning coach myself finding a reliable PT for my clients had been a failed search until I met Joey two years ago. There is not another PT I respect and trust more.

When I tore my Achilles this past winter Joey was the very first person who I thought to reach out to. Because I'm in the health/wellness industry, there are very few people who I would trust to treat me. I believe that what makes Joey so different from others in his field is his perpetual pursuit of knowledge. He is constantly bettering his practice by collaborating with other pioneers in the industry. He does much more than treat off a doctor referral note. He assesses your injury and searches for the root of the problem. I came in for Achilles, but we have discovered so many other imbalances in my body. My tendon was just the straw that broke the camel's back. We rehab by moving and performing strength work. It's a very holistic approach which I can appreciate as a patient, as an athlete and as a coach.

Not only does he have the knowledge, but he also has the compassion and empathy. He takes an athlete-centered approach to rehabilitating your entire body, not just your injury. He treats you as if you are already on the way to being better, which empowers you, as opposed to the regular approach of treating you like you are broken, which is more disheartening than helpful. It's only been a few months since working with him and my Achilles is on its way to full recovery and more. Joey is making me a better coach, trainer, athlete and human being.
